tjekvejr.dk does not show our own forecast. We fetch the recognised weather models directly and line them up next to each other, so you can judge the certainty for yourself.
Which models do we show?
- DMI HARMONIE AROME – the Danish Meteorological Institute's high-resolution model, fine-tuned for Danish conditions.
- ECMWF IFS – the European weather service, widely regarded as the world's best global model in the medium range.
- YR / MET Norway – the Norwegian meteorological service behind yr.no, with strong coverage across the Nordics.
- GFS – NOAA's global American model.
- ICON – the German weather service DWD's model.
Where does the data come from?
All forecasts are fetched via Open-Meteo, which makes the official models available under an open licence (CC BY 4.0). Your browser always fetches the newest version when you open a page.
What do "consensus" and "disagree" mean?
Consensus is the average of the models' prediction. The spread (±X°) is the difference between the warmest and coldest model. If the spread is large (more than 3°), we flag the day as "disagree" – so you know that day's weather is hard to predict.

No. tjekvejr.dk is an independent service. We link straight on to DMI, TV2 Vejret, YR and Vejr og Radar. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
